I’m Marco, a wedding photographer based in Nice since 2009.

I trained as a graphic designer and have been taking photographs since I was 12. Over the years, I’ve worked for ELLE magazine, concert production companies, in fashion and advertising, and have produced documentary reports in Asia.
A fairly varied career that eventually led me to spend my days photographing happy people. Pretty good choice, really.

Today, I photograph weddings in Nice, Monaco, Paris and Brussels, but also pretty much anywhere you decide to throw a party. My approach is documentary: being present without being everywhere, observing, anticipating and, above all, not turning your wedding into one giant photoshoot.

I prefer real moments to forced smiles, unexpected emotions to perfectly measured poses, and photographs that actually tell a story to images that could belong to anyone.

My years in fashion and advertising have, however, left me with a certain weakness for good aesthetics. I like beautiful light, strong compositions and photographs with a little character.

After several hundred weddings, I’ve also learned a few things about the big day: when to step in, when to disappear... and exactly when the youngest guest is most likely to start screaming during the ceremony.
